About This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Crowner Technology Inc. ("DexAlert," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") and covers types of information we collect from you or that you may provide when you visit or use https://dexalert.ai ("Website"), or use our data, services, information, tools, functionality, updates, and similar materials (collectively, "Services"). This Policy describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, disclosing, retaining, and transferring that information.

You should not use the Services if you have any objections to this Privacy Policy. Your use of our Website and our Services is at all times subject to our Terms of Service, which are incorporated by reference herein.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA), and where applicable, other provincial privacy legislation.

Our Privacy Approach

A few key points about DexAlert's privacy practices:

  • Our Services are an educational technical-analysis platform. We compute standard technical indicators and study "strategies" over publicly available market price data (obtained from third-party market-data providers) and surface the results for our subscribers to learn from.
  • To provide the Services, we collect a limited amount of information directly from you (such as your email address) and information about how you use the Services. We do not require, request, or collect any cryptocurrency wallet address, private key, exchange credential, or trading account.
  • We respect the privacy of our users. The account and usage information we hold is stored securely and will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • We do not sell users' personal data.

What Do We Mean by "Personal Data"?

"Personal data" is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual. Personal data that is publicly available, processed for journalistic purposes or a matter of public concern, or which is aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified is not considered personal data for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

What Personal Data Do We Collect and How?

Information You Provide Us

Personal data you may provide through the Services includes:

  • Account and contact data: Your email address and password when you register;
  • Interests, usage, and configuration: Information about how you use the Services, such as the assets you view, the study strategies you create, the indicators and conditions you configure, and the actions you take;
  • Alert-delivery data: If you choose to receive alerts via Telegram, the Telegram chat or user identifier needed to deliver messages to you. You may disable alert delivery at any time;
  • Marketing data: Your preferences for receiving marketing communications and details about your engagement with them;
  • Communications: Messages or inquiries you send to our support team.

Market Data

The Services ingest publicly available market data — such as prices, market capitalization, and trading activity for publicly traded digital assets — from third-party market-data providers. This market data is not personal data and is not linked to you. We process it to compute the indicators, signals, and study strategies surfaced through the Services.

Automatic Data Collection

We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log information about you, your device, and your interaction over time with the Services:

  • Device data: IP address (and derived location), device name, browser type and settings, operating system, date and time of use, and interactions with the Services;
  • Online activity data: Pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page, navigation paths between pages, frequency and length of access.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use the following technologies:

  • Session and third-party cookies: Text files stored on your device to uniquely identify your browser or store preferences, helping you navigate between pages efficiently and enabling features;
  • Local storage technologies: Like HTML5, providing cookie-equivalent functionality that can store larger amounts of data on your device;
  • Web beacons: Also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, used to demonstrate that a webpage or email was accessed or opened.
